Our team has been working through the night to determine a solution for systems affected by the Crowdstrike / Microsoft outage that hit the world overnight. This outage has affected every industry including Shipping, Retail, Air Travel, Banking / Finance, Healthcare, Fire, EMS, Water Treatment and 911 services.

As of the last few hours we have been updated by Crowdstrike and my team has successfully deployed their solution and began to bring systems back online. Their solution disables Crowdstrike and its features, but makes the system usable again. Crowdstrike will be pushing out another major update today in order to bring its drivers back online.

To bring a system that is down back online, please have your technical staff:

1) Boot into Windows Recovery Mode or Safe Mode

2) Locate the Folder C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike

3) Locate the file C-00000291*.sys and delete it.

4) Reboot

The system will come back online WITHOUT Crowdstrike running. Crowdstrike will then need to be repaired later in the day once it has released its update.
