Y’all stay safe! It doesn’t hurt to get/be prepared in case things turn ugly!

This is the first official NHC cone for . I have it zoomed in so you can see the cities better.

Notice how wide it is, and please don’t pay attention to just the center line, as this could change and impacts will be deadly outside of the cone as always.

For now, the NHC is forecasting a Cat 1 hurricane making landfall in SW on Wednesday.

Just an up to date…..

Beryl smashing the south coast of Jamaica. Beryl will slowly weaken as she tracks west toward the Yucatan on Friday. Still a hurricane at landfall Friday. Beryl will weaken to a TS while over the Yucatan before becoming a Hurricane again before landfall in N Mexico or extreme S. Texas Sunday night. No big impacts expected here.

Just a tropical update…

Breaking - The first forecast for Tropical Depression 2 has been issued by the NHC. The storm is expected to become TS within 24 hours and eventually a hurricane with winds peaking near 105 mph. Took a drive past the hill on 4 Oaks…
These are all photos going in. Driving regular 4 door truck with side steps.
Water Didn’t get in cab.
River was at 4.5 around noon.

4 Oaks is now mostly passable all the way to Loving Acres with very little water on the road BUT passed that there is still water on the road going to the boat ramp.
