After several meaningful years serving our community, Vienna Neurological Institute will be closing our clinical practice. Our final clinical day will be April 15, 2026.

It has been a privilege to care for so many patients and families over the years. I am deeply grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the dedication of the team who helped make this practice possible.

Patients who need copies of their medical records or assistance transferring records to another physician may contact our office by emailing [email protected]
or calling (571) 290-7939. We will continue responding to record requests through the end of April.

Thank you again for allowing us to be part of your care.

When new patients come in with migraines we often discuss tracking things that might trigger your migraine. Here are the most common triggers:

-Stress
-Poor sleep or change in sleep
-Changes in weather
-Certain foods: cheese, dairy, artificial sweeteners, MSG
-Alcohol: red wine is most common
-Caffeine: it can treat migraines but also causes them for some
-Hormones
-Dehydration
-Certain lights: fluorescent being most common
-Some smells like perfumes
-Medications or taking some medications too frequently (like over the counter headache medicines)

If you can identify them, you can reduce your headaches by avoiding them.

Short naps ~15 minutes are good for your health.

Do you take naps? Maybe you should! A good nap can get you out of that afternoon slump, recharge your energy, and leave you more alert and in a better mood.
