Food for thought…. I vote for being a “neglected” kid vs over parented.
As a Parent of teens once upon a time I never tracked them and I never let them have a smart phone until their 18th . Flip phone to talk and text - no SM . They got a taste of my childhood freedoms ….. they thank me now….
