FIRST ALERT: With severe storms expected Tuesday, make sure you know the difference between a watch and a warning. The best way to explain the difference is to use the example of baking a cake:

A WATCH is when you have the ingredients to make a cake.

A WARNING is when the cake is ready to eat.

Take both watches and warnings seriously because when a watch is issued--the cake could already be in the oven, and as soon as the oven says ding, the cake is completed, and a warning is issued. Sometimes, there's no time for frosting.

I am proud of a local Working / Homeschool parent FB group that I Admin. When I took it over, it consisted of a small amount of members and was nothing more than advertisement after advertisement with no interaction. Well - that group has just reached over 1,000 member and is now an engaged and robust online community that provides support and resources to one another.
