Today marks the grand opening of VanTran/MGM Transformers and our new 430,000 square-foot advanced manufacturing facility in Waco, Texas. The new transformer plant is expected to unlock over $1 billion in annual transformer production capacity and create 700 American jobs.

Our partnership with MGM Transformer Company to open this plant allows us to better support the rapidly expanding grid – from AI data center growth and clean energy production to the resurgence of American manufacturing. We are honored to be leading the industry with domestic transformer production and supporting a resilient and modern electric grid as the largest custom distribution transformer manufacturer in North America.
