The countdown is officially on. This Monday, February 23, The LAB Project heads to Jacinto Zamora Elementary!

The team is getting ready to bring culturally relevant storybooks, school supplies, and hygiene kits to 240 kindergarteners across 8 classrooms. The energy is high, and everyone is excited to teach healthy habits through the adventures of Liza and Bert.

Small hands, big habits. 👐🫧

For our upcoming outreach, we aren't just teaching 240 kindergarteners how to wash their hands—we are giving them the tools to do it at home.

Hygiene is the first line of defense against illness, keeping these little ones healthy and in school. That’s why a huge part of our fundraising goal goes toward assembling 240 Hygiene Kits containing soap, toothbrushes, and other essentials.

We want every student at Jacinto Zamora Elementary to leave our program with a "clean slate" and a brand new book.

We have been hard at work behind the scenes preparing for our February 23, 2026 outreach. We have identified the partner school, selected the perfect books to teach health literacy, and designed a day of fun, impactful learning for 200+ kindergarten students.

But there is one crucial box left to check.

We cannot run this program without the actual resources to put into these students' hands. We need funding to purchase 500 books and essential school supplies to ensure every child leaves equipped to learn and grow.

8 Rooms. 240 Students. One big day of impact. 🏫❤️

Mark your calendars! On February 23, 2026, The Lab Project team will be heading to Jacinto Zamora Elementary School.

We have a big day planned, running from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, where we will be taking over the kindergarten wing to deliver our outreach program.

Our goal is to ensure every single one of these 240 students walks away with:
✅ A stronger understanding of their health.
✅ A brand new book of their own.
✅ The supplies they need to succeed in class.

We can’t leave any room behind. We need to fill all 240 kits!
