We’re so excited to officially welcome Alexandra Damron to the M.A.M.A. team! 💛

Alex is joining us through a public health practicum and will be supporting the transformation of the M.A.M.A. Birth Course into an online childbirth education experience—a meaningful step forward in expanding how we serve families.

Alex is a Master of Public Health student in the Department of Maternal & Child Health at the Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a third-year medical student at Duke University. She brings a strong passion for women’s health, health equity, and empowering individuals to advocate for themselves—values that align deeply with M.A.M.A.’s mission.

*Reach more families beyond our immediate community
*Reduce barriers to accessing evidence-based birth education
*Offer flexible learning that supports different schedules and needs
