Whenever tragedy or scary events happen, it’s normal to be mad, angry, fearful, frustrated, confused, or a range of other emotions.

It’s important that our young people know, their safety matters, their life matters, and their voice matters.

Staff, parents, school leaders can use this video to help respond to school violence by empowering students. School leaders must ensure school and student safety. Use this video to talk with students about being safe, gun violence, and if needed to respond in the event of a crisis or school shooting.
