Laughing is a great feeling but successfully completing a residency week (that included creating splints, learning from patients with prosthetics, and taking exams with manikins) is an even better feeling ✨🧘‍♂️👏.

It was an inspiring, insightful, and thought-provoking day at the for our GW OT faculty, students, and staff!

Our program director spoke on ‘The Rise of Men in ’ while others spoke on AI, cognitive rehabilitation, the evolution of pelvic health practices, gender affirming care, and more!

“My hope for the students is that they'll become changemakers in society, that they will be effective practitioners helping individuals create meaningful lives. But also my hope is that the students will break down some of these social barriers that are limiting opportunities for people to engage in meaningful life experiences and have the self-determination to make the choices that they can to lead these fulfilling lives,” said GW program director, Roger Ideishi, JD, OT/L, FAOTA.
