Member Stories - WTC Health Program 09/12/2025

On September 11, 2001, Nadia was a 20-year-old college student attending NYU. She was exposed to dangerous hazards and debris due to the 9/11 tragedy and got diagnosed with breast cancer several years later. Just like Nadia, many children, teenagers and students who were present during these events now face life-long health issues directly related to their 9/11 exposure. Watch Nadia's story.

The WTC Health Program provides no-cost, 9/11-related healthcare to those who were there, including children, teenagers, and students at the time.
