Earlier today, the Senate passed the War Powers Resolution to block Trump from resuming his reckless war in Iran. The American people have made it clear from the beginning that they didn’t want this war, and now Congress is making it clear as well. I proudly voted for this Resolution and am calling for a swift end to this illegal, unilateral war.

It’s official! We broke ground at the 9th Ward Stadium! I secured $3 million for this project in its very early stages. For too long, historically underserved communities like the Upper Ninth Ward have watched resources flow elsewhere. Today, that changes and we birth a facility worthy of our children.
