Timed perfectly, if not accidentally, with this week's famed Home Run Derby and All Star Game came one of the greatest "Sports in the Attic" discoveries of all time. Just for a moment, think of how cool it would be to discover $3 million worth of baseball cards that your grandfather bought more than 100 years ago. It might sound crazy, but that is exactly what happened to Karl Kissner of Defiance, Ohio when he finally built up the courage to venture into the attic and dig through years and years worth of family possessions.
You probably won’t hit a Grand Slam like Mr. Kissner did, but this story should be just the incentive you need to tackle the attic or basement you've been dreading. Even a small effort may turn up items that are valuable as well as sentimental. And if you just can't bring yourself to step up to the plate, one of the professional organizers at Beyond the Box will go to bat with you, sorting and organizing and formulating a plan for each of the unearthed items. Team work at it's finest.
