On Law Day in the United States, we recognize the enduring importance of the rule of law.

As former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor observed, the rule of law is the foundation of democracy.

It ensures that rights are protected, institutions are accountable, and laws are applied equally to all.

These principles remain essential to justice, stability, and public trust.
