Went up to Philly last week to photograph , an incredibly kind and thoughtful person as well as an accomplished beauty creator.

We ended up walking around old town Philly, a part of town I haven’t been to since I’ve been an adult.

The photos from the previous posts have been with 800 film with dev/scan by , and then these were done with the 7R IV and G Master lenses.

I really love taking photos around the city at sunset. What I find the most interesting is the way that the light bounces off of the buildings on and the sun goes through the trees at golden hour.

The light creates these really beautiful highlights and shadows on subjects and people’s faces in a way that just really makes them glow. Here are some of my favorites from the past few days.

Mother’s Day frames around . I picked up the 50mm f/2 as a walk around lens. It’s been nice to take what I’ve learned from the photo walk a few weeks ago using the Q3 43 about manual focusing and applying that technique here.

Seeing mothers and their kids today reminded me so much how my mother still loves us, even if I can no longer hear her voice. 🕊️ I did a X-Pan crop in and then put this layout together in .
