While 87% of Americans demand term limits, incumbents are too busy dialing dollars. It’s time to ensure the will of the people outweighs the bank accounts of the status quo.

When was the last time a job with a 20% approval rating was a job for life?

In any other profession, this type of job performance evaluation would result in immediate termination. Yet, because of incumbent advantage, members of Congress are re-elected at over a 90% rate, term after term.

We need to return to the concept of citizen-legislators. End the era of the "forever" job in Washington.
