To all the entrepreneurs out there, especially the young dreamers: don’t give up. Today, as I celebrate the opening of Community Cafe Express food truck, I want to share that this moment didn’t come without its struggles. Over the past year, I faced numerous challenges—obtaining permits, passing inspections, and dealing with many setbacks. It was a long and often frustrating journey, but I learned to stay calm and patient.

People often see the success and think it happened overnight, but I started this venture back in 2018. I always dreamed of having a food truck, but when I crunched the numbers, I realized I needed to be careful with my finances. I couldn’t afford to operate without proper funding, so I focused on saving money, planning, and learning everything I could about the food truck industry.

I spent time crafting a meal plan and designing menus to prepare for my soft opening. My message isn’t meant to discourage you; it’s a reminder to be patient with yourself. Building something worthwhile takes time, and it will come together. Just remember: don’t quit!
