I joined Senator Amy Klobuchar to work on the EARLY Act, a bipartisan bill designed to ensure better breast cancer education, awareness and research. Prioritizing early detection is not only vital for saving lives, but also an effective long-term strategy to reduce health care costs by avoiding expensive treatments for late-stage cancers.
