Eclectic Turtle

I recently had the pleasure to work with a wonderful organization in St. Louis! Rock Steady Boxing is a program designed specifically designed to help those battle the effects of Parkinson’s Desease.

My mom has been attending classes at Rocksteadystl for quite a while now, and they have been helping her so much!

I was given creative freedom on this project, which can be quite terrifying, but I’m so excited with the results!

🥊 The logo is very angular, so I chose to mimic that with the shapes of the image frames.
🥊 There are only two colors used throughout the entirety, minus the full-color photos.
🥊 I pulled in a couple of the “cut-outs” from the logo on the cover in order to help tie into the branding, without doing too much!

Sometimes inspiration comes from deep artistic thought.

Other times it comes from gummy worms.

I kept thinking about those bright neon colors and the weird squishy shapes, and somehow that turned into a whole design.

So now we have Gummy Worms and Gummy Worms V2, which are available on stickers, notebooks, phone cases, hats, backpacks, and a bunch of other things in my shop.

Not going to lie, these were really fun to draw.

Important question though…

If you could only choose one gummy worm color, which one are you grabbing first?
