It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of Kelley Jones, a cherished and long-standing member of our school community. For over 20 years, Kelley served as the Adventure Club Coordinator in our district, making a lasting impact on countless students, families, and colleagues.

Kelley was so loved here at Adventure Club. Her warmth, kindness, and dedication touched everyone she met. She spent countless hours with our children and families, always bringing joy, laughter, and care. Her presence was a gift, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

As we process this loss together, we encourage you to keep Kelley’s family, friends, and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.

We also recognize that news like this can be especially difficult for children. If helpful, here are some trusted resources for talking with kids about grief:

The Dougy Center – www.dougy.org: Free resources, guides, and activities for grieving children and families.

National Alliance for Grieving Children – www.childrengrieve.org: Support networks and educational materials.

Sesame Street in Communities – www.sesamestreetincommunities.org: Videos and guides on grief for young children.

Child Mind Institute – www.childmind.org: Articles and guidance on how to talk to children about death.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you or your child need additional support. We are here for you.

With heartfelt sympathy,
The Adventure Club Team
