A great day planting native plants! Thanks to all!
Since 2014, a diverse group of partners have been working to restore prairie, woodland and the lakeshore at the Mallard Lake area of Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park in NW STL County. The project includes several native plant pollinator demonstration gardens to help inspire visitors to create habitat in their own landscapes. The initial efforts, under a grant from the MO Dept of Conservation, will be completed in 2017, but the partnership work will continue.
