When we returned to Dallas, we moved to a community with a performative recycling program 😭😭. Thankfully, we discovered Recycle Revolution and their community recycling program. Each week or so, we drop off our recyclables FREE of charge! There is a small fee for dropping off styrofoam, e-waste (devices, electric toothbrushes, etc), soft plastic bags and compost... but it's worth every cent!

Sometimes we see the chickens roaming the property. Other times we learn about ways to reduce our environmental impact (thanks for all the recommendations, Jessica). And every time, my children learn how their actions impact our planet and the quality of life of generations to come.

I've always L📚VED reading, especially stories of adventure and excitement. I love helping my children cultivate their own love of reading. Here are several titles we've loved and read over and over.
