The 2026 Lunar Rendezvous Festival warmly welcomes Princess Sophia Schaefer to this year’s Court.
My name is Sofia Schaefer, and I’m from Friendswood. I am currently attending Friendswood High School. I am a three-time Area and Region Band member, and the first chair saxophone player in the Wind Ensemble at school. Over the years, I have earned top ratings and received many awards for various competitions in which I have participated.
I am also involved in HOSA, Student Council, Recycling Club, Girls in STEM, and Political Science Club, as well as a member of NHS, NTHS, and SNHS. In addition, I volunteer at Three Little Pitties Rescue because I love caring for animals.
After high school graduation, I hope to attend Texas A&M University and pursue a career in nursing. My goal is to become a nurse anesthetist. I am inspired by my hardworking mom, who is also in the medical field.
FUN FACT: I love to travel and have been to nine countries!
