It takes a village to raise a healthcare system.

Many people who start nursing school don’t make it to the pinning ceremony. Cost of living, childcare, lack of transportation or support at home can stop a promising nursing career in its path. It could have stopped Sonia. But the village showed up.

“I’ve got picking up the kids!”
“I’ve got dinner!”
“I’ve got your back!”

We need nurses. The village is made up of educators, businesses, workforce partners, and friends and family. Last week Sonia’s family flooded the stage with her at her pinning ceremony. And today Sonia is a Registered Nurse at Confluence Health, filling a critical employer and community need, and establishing a solid foundation for her family’s future. 👏
