Be yourself, and all of your clients will become your dream clients. 🤍 Here’s a better breakdown of what I mean : My dream clients are the ones who look for connection, authenticity, and have a love for my art. It has nothing to do with wealth, beauty standards, or anything superficial. The people that I can connect with, make jokes with, be creative with, laugh and cry with, THAT is the definition of a ‘Dream Client’. Hearing the words “we spoke to multiple photographers, and we connected the strongest with you” is the ultimate goal at the end of the day.

I’ve noticed a huge influx in beginning photographers in my area, and I am imagine it’s the same in other places. If you’re just beginning and took the time to read this, this last piece of advice is just for you! Whatever you do, Just. Be. Your. Self. Hone in on your craft, really LEARN about your camera and your editing style, and DON’T just follow trends because you think it’s what you’re supposed to do. Let YOU shine through your work and connections, the rest will follow. 🤍

I had the pleasure of second shooting for last month, and I am so grateful for her letting me play around with some of the shots I took. 🥹 Second shooting is genuinely so fun for many reasons!
- You have a co-worker to chat with and bounce ideas off of!
- The second shooter captures the candid moments while the lead shooter works their magic ✨
- The client will receive multiple angles of key moments
- And it’s definitely an opportunity to learn from other incredible photographers in the moment! (There’s always room for growth 🤍)
