Some leaders make an impact through strategy. Others through relationships. Chris Stormer, our Chief Financial Officer, does both.
Since joining Custom Concrete in 2017, Chris has helped shape who we are as a company. He has strengthened our culture, supported our teams, earned the trust of clients, and guided our financial decisions with steady discipline.
But the real story of Chris’s leadership begins with his belief that people come first.
Chris often says that success starts with a strong team. From the job site to the shop to the office, he sees the heart of Custom Concrete in the individuals who bring pride and professionalism to work each day. His goal is simple. Build a team of grounded and ambitious people and remove barriers that keep them from doing their best.
He also carries a few principles that guide how he leads.

• Do not suffer imagined troubles.
• Live in the present. Every chapter offers something valuable.
When Chris talks about what makes Custom Concrete special, he points to our character. It is not only our craftsmanship that sets us apart. It is the way we show up for each other. Many on our team are close friends, and that connection turns hard days into shared accomplishments. We recently completed a major pour at the first AC Hotels by Marriott in Indiana, a milestone project featuring vertical work, post‑tension systems, and podium construction.
Despite extreme cold and limited site space, our crews advanced every phase safely, efficiently, and with exceptional coordination. Thoughtful planning, strong communication, and disciplined ex*****on kept the project moving without interruption.
We are proud to maintain a zero‑accident record on this project and to deliver the high‑level performance our commercial clients rely on.
