Meet our sweetest little ice cream crew! 🍦🐾

These adorable kittens are being lovingly fostered by Lucinda and are looking for their forever families!

🍦 Popsicle (8-week-old male) is a total cuddle bug with the softest, most beautiful fur. He loves snuggling and is always happy to soak up affection.

🍨 Gelato (7-week-old male) is friendly, outgoing, and full of love! He's the first to greet his foster mom, loves being held, enjoys playtime, purrs up a storm, and even loves belly kisses.

🍓 Sorbet (7-week-old female) was a little reserved at first, but she's blossomed into a sweet, playful kitten who now loves human attention and having fun with her brothers.

🍧 FroYo (7-week-old male) is the quiet observer of the group, often letting his siblings eat or play first. Once he's comfortable, his playful side shines—especially when there's a wand toy involved!

These little scoops are full of love, personality, and kitten antics. As always, we encourage adopting kittens in pairs whenever possible so they can continue to learn, play, and grow together.

“Kahlua” & “Mudslide” are bonded brothers recently rescued in Newington. Stunning all black coats and piercing yellow eyes, these two boys are living examples of our OW Kitten Rescue logo! 🐈‍⬛

Both are approximately 16 weeks old and have been seen by Pieper Vet in Middletown and received their first set of vaccines and will be neutered prior to adoption.

🖤 Mudslide is the protective one, and a little more docile than his brother. He enjoys sitting on his foster Kathy’s lap and eating Churu treats!

🖤 Kahlua while a little more cautious of people, is the more playful one, who loves chasing after a laser pointer and running after his brother when it’s “play time”!

As with all siblings, these two have their own unique personalities and support each other when stressed or nervous about meeting new people or situations. With time, we expect them to adjust to being around people and openly interact with their adoptive family.

For now, we feel they would do best in a home without dogs or young children, as a calmer environment will help them feel safe and adapt more quickly to their new home.

Born on Cinco de Mayo, Barbara's five adorable kittens are almost 8 weeks old and will be ready for their forever homes at the end of July! Thanks to their wonderful foster mom, Jill, each kitten's unique personality is beginning to shine.

🤍 Margarita (male, long-haired black & white) is your little shadow who loves to "help" with everything you do. Update: ADOPTED

🖤 Enchilada (female, tuxedo) is full of energy and will happily turn anything into a toy. Update: ADOPTED

🧡 Tortilla (female, long-haired tortico) likes to observe before jumping into the fun. Update: ADOPTED

🤍 Queso (female, short-haired cow spots) is independent, enjoys attention, but doesn't demand it. ADOPTED

🖤 Guacamole (female, black) is the playful instigator who keeps the whole litter entertained. Update: ADOPTED

Their beautiful mom, Barbara, is a sweet, easygoing girl who loves pets, lounging by the window, and relaxing near her people. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she's a wonderful companion with a gentle nature.

Our latest rescue, “Anthony” came to us thanks to the rescue efforts of Maureen who noticed him outside looking for food. As Maureen lives in a known area for “dumping” unwanted cats, she’s worked with our rescue over the past three years to identify, rescue and care for the many cats that have found their way to her neighborhood in the Southend of Hartford.

Anthony is a gorgeous all black male cat approximately 1 years old, who will be fully vetted and neutered before adoption. 🖤✨

Tremendously sweet and affectionate, Anthony loves his tube treats, pets and cuddling with his foster mom & dad - Diane & Mark, who are overseeing his care and ensuring he gets the right nutrition before he has his surgery.
