I particularly enjoy prom season, especially given the rising popularity of bouquet requests over traditional corsages. I hope these two have a wonderful time tonight🕺💕💃🏻

You guys!!! The sun has been peeking out and the plant babies have been sooo happy☀️! We love yarrow and what she brings to the table. She is an incredibly productive filler flower for bouquets and the pollinators LOVE her! She is a perennial here in zone 6a, but we treat her as an annual here in the farm. Being able to succession plant allows us to keep the harvest consistent and offer more blooms to our customers for a longer period of time. If you have any questions about succession planting, feel free to reach out!

Hellebores are so very beneficial to have growing in your lineup. She comes in a variety of shapes and colors and is just the perfect pick-me-up during the colder winter months leading into spring. She is incredibly cold tolerant and often times blooming while we still have snow on the ground. She has an elegance about her that allows her to shine in a vase all alone 🧡 As long as she is harvested at the right time and conditioned properly, she easily lasts 2 weeks in a vase for us. She loves the shade but most varieties will tolerate some morning filtered sunlight. If you’re growing hellebores, drop a pic below ! Happy gardening y’all🌱

Zanzibar is the correct answer for day number four of the seedling challenge! We love the rigidity of the foliage which makes the vase life great! She germinates very quickly and hits the ground running . You can direct sew or soil block her if you would like. She is considered a cool season flower so now is the perfect time to get her going in your garden here in zone 6a with a last frost date of mid May 🌸

Day four of🌱 Name That Seedling Challenge🌱 is such a good one! We absolutely love planting this one and actually succession plant it throughout the growing season to have a continuous harvest for our market bouquets. The seed germinates ridiculously fast and the leaves are more rigid than soft. Being that it is versatile, it allows us to use it as a greenery filler before it flowers and also after it blooms! Take your best guess to be entered to win a prize!!!
