Refresh Wichita Falls

Hey everyone! TWO more local businesses have reached out looking for development help. One is a smaller website, the other is a large corporation who needs some minor application development. If anyone is interested, I'll get you more details. Please share with anyone else you might know!

Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays! We're back and ready for an awesome 2013! We've got quite a few changes in place, starting with our first meeting next monday.

First is the location. We'll be meeting at Fuzzy's Taco Shop - Wichita Falls, TX instead of at MSU. Hopefully this will make for a more fun atmosphere, and it definitely will mean better food. Fuzzy's will be providing us complimentary chips and salsa as well as free soft drinks. In fact, they are giving everyone a 32 oz cup that you can get unlimited refills on this visit and then bring back in any time to get any soft drink for only $0.99! Fuzzy's also has a private room we'll be in with free wi-fi. Come early and get some food to enjoy during the talk!

Eric Binnion will be giving this month's talk. He'll introduce us to WordPress and show us the options available for plugin and theme development. If you want to take your blog or website to the next level, dont' miss it!

Thanks to everyone who came out to Refresh WF tonight and to those who got up to talk. I'll post a link with a list of all the resources that were mentioned sometime tomorrow. We will be creating a repo on GitHub for it so as more of these Resource Roundtable events happen, we can constantly grow the list.

Just a reminder that we won't have a meeting next month with the holidays but we will be back in January with a lot of new ideas and several speakers already lined up. Remember we can only grow with your feedback and participation so get in touch with us if you have any topic suggestions or would like to give a talk.
