The day the crown molding was installed, versus almost 3 years later.
This external miter joint in the crown molding hasn’t opened even in the slightest.
It’s a treat to be able to see how previous work is doing after some time has passed.
All miter joints are reinforced with glue. This is especially important when the molding is in contact with the ceiling, which can apply significant movement/pressure with seasonal changes.
