Edward Jones - Financial Advisor: Shane Ewing

Still trying to understand how I am fortunate enough for Edward Jones to allow us to Experience the World. Disney World and now Maui are making 2026 the greatest year ever for the Ewings as the kids see the ocean for the first time. And as always, it all goes back to serving my clients. Thank you, or “Mahalo”, to all who allow me to be of service and make this magic possible for my family.

One year ago today, as the light turned green and I drove through a highway intersection, I looked out my driver side window and saw the scariest sight of my life. I had 1 second to react. I je**ed the steering wheel to the right to lessen the angle of impact before the semi inevitably would make contact. All I could do from there is wait for it. That was the longest 1 second ever because of all that went through my head, and what they say about people seeing their kids’ faces in times like these is exactly what happened for me. But after I kicked the window out and emerged from that twisted steel, I realized my story didn’t end there and I’m blessed enough to know that this could all end at any time. As scary as that is, it means things just matter more than ever before. And I can also remind people to be alert and ready for any unexpected thing on the roads. Thanks to all who have been a part of my life in the last year. It truly mattered more.
