We have not posted an update on the current measles cases and outbreaks in a few weeks so here is the current update....According to the CDC, as of June 6th 1,022 individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 28 states. The states that have reported cases are Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Nevanda, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington.

This is the greatest number of cases reported in the U.S. since 1992.

These outbreaks are linked to travelers who brought measles back from other countries such as Israel, Ukraine, and the Philippines, where large measles outbreaks are occurring.
The spread of measles are from the majority of people who are unvaccinated.
