To try to keep things as normal as possible I figured it’d be good to keep on with some routines, like !⠀

I’m Emily, the lettering artist, calligrapher, and designer (and accountant, marketer, web designer, and copywriter) behind Emily Elle Designs. In other words, it’s a one-woman show (for now).⠀

I’ve made lots of fun things throughout the almost 2 years I’ve been doing this. I started out primarily doing handmade and lettered custom wedding signs and home decor signs. I’ve since transitioned into primarily designing and making wedding invitations & stationery, and working with businesses doing live event calligraphy, like in the picture above with Kendra Scott and designing menu/event signs. ⠀

I majored in English in college with a minor in music, and I love love love getting lost in a good book. I’m obsessed with Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra, and am certain that I’d be a pretty kickass waterbender.⠀

While I always love hearing from my followers/supporters, I especially want to hear from y’all now! Social distancing sucks, but social media has been a big blessing in that I can still connect with like-minded people all over the world (or city) despite the distance. This week I said goodbye to my cute lil apartment. I still have a few small things to move and some deep cleaning, but it’s no longer the place I call home. ⠀

I did a lot of growth in this space. I healed from a past relationship where I was taken advantage of financially, and had enough of my own space to learn how to be in a healthy relationship again. I had a designated space to grow my business. I’ve now kept THREE plants alive for numerous months, which is not something I’ve done before. ⠀

This place gave me the safety to re-examine my position and goals in life, and I will forever be thankful for it.⠀

In re-evaluation my goals in my personal life and my business, I realized I had a lot of stuff lying around that I’ve frankly just outgrown. So I’ve decided to have a sort of “moving sale” if you will, and shred some of those extra things at a very discounted price to you all! My dear IG followers get first pick on what I have. ⠀

I’ve posted all of the items and directions in my Instagram stories, and they’ll be there for another 7 hours before I share it with my Facebook followers and groups.
