First Friday is just around the corner!

This month, the Augusta Arts Council will host 5 students from the WSU Ceramics Guild in the Augusta Art Centre.

Tickets are $10 in advance and will be $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets online through our website: augustahistorictheatre.org (click coming attractions) OR pick them up at the box office when the theatre is open for a movie this weekend (Fri & Sat at 7:30pm, Sun at 2pm).

All tickets will include a trip to the ice cream sundae bar provided by BonBons of Augusta !!!! Soda & adult beverages will be available for purchase.

NIGHT ON THE BRICKS tickets are available too! Get your movie ticket to "Ordinary Angels" for Friday Night AND your First Friday art show ticket for $16!!!

Doors to the art show will open at 6pm & theatre will open at 7pm. Movie will begin at 7:30pm.

Our first event is “The Chocolate Showdown” at The Augusta Art Centre.

Five "Chocolate Artists" will compete for the winning prize, as the public judges whose chocolate art is the tastiest.

Join The Augusta Arts Council for an unforgettable evening of indulgence at First Friday on The Bricks: The Chocolate Showdown! Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth and experience the ultimate chocolate extravaganza. This in-person event will take place on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM (Central Standard Time).

Located at the Augusta Art Centre on State Street in Augusta, KS, this event promises to be a treat for all chocolate lovers. Immerse yourself in a world of delectable delights as you sample a variety of chocolate creations from talented local bakers and sweet treat makers.

or at the Augusta Historic Theatre box office/concessions for just $10. With this admission, YOU will get to taste a sample from each chocolate artist and pick YOUR favorite to be the winner! Winner will receive a prize and be announced at the event. Spectator tickets can be purchased at the door for a $5 donation.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward future programming at The Augusta Art Centre.
