Fireworks sales underway in Wichita area, across Kansas While rules vary on what you can buy and when the loud pops, booms, and whistles start, fireworks sales kicked off Thursday in communities across Kansas.

Surveyed teachers express concerns with direction of Wichita Public Schools A new survey of Wichita teachers shows that while there’s a collective positive view of the state’s largest school district, many teachers are also concerned with the district’s direction.
Earlier this month United Teachers of Wichita published a survey of nearly 1,500 teachers showing positive support for Wichita Public Schools but dissatisfaction with the direction the school district is headed. I’ll be live on 12 News at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. with comments from the teachers union about the survey!
