Getting ready to kick it off with Jim Hill, Don Overstake, Scott B. Strecker, Matt Koehn, and Alan Diaz! We can’t play as good as this car looks, no way! NSX!
Jim Hill and I are concocting a new medley. Historically, the songs are from 1972, 73, and 74. Form-wise, I suppose it would be concerto-form (fast-slow-fast, or maybe dance-funk-dance), with a reprise. All transitions are ii7/V or V7(b13)/V (it may be a bit redundant, but it'll take you anywhere you wanna go). Thematically, I think it must be about giving in to cynicism, but hey, Jim picked the songs. He's the idea-man, I'm just the arranger!
All three songs are by the same artist. Any guesses?
