Thrilled for Josh, who last minute asked if he could give Tulsa Run 15k a go. He’s wanted to achieve the sub60 minute goal, but we haven’t been training for that specifically. However, with his fitness level going into RT66, I knew he stood a good chance of snagging the coveted mug.
He got it done, 58:53!

Training the body to run fast doesn’t mean it has to just always run fast!
A great interval workout such as this allows for recovery between the reps, making the quality of the work great and not make a quantity workout!
The greater the quality, the greater the speed in the end! Sometimes we have to let go of the ego!

Happy to share on this medal Monday, Paul Countess completed LOViT 100 mile race. Weather was wet, rocks were plentiful and 40,000’ of elevation change was had.
We won’t mention that he did around 4 bonus miles! 🤪
