Today, I am moved to share a profound realization, a journey through the chapters of my life, and introspection that has shaken me to my core. It's a story about the delicate balance of life, the precious yet ephemeral nature of moments, and the profound consequences of taking such treasures for granted.

Life often feels like a grand play, in which we adorn many characters. But, in my narrative, two roles have towered above all others in their significance - a husband and a father. These roles are not mere titles; they have become integral parts of my identity, shaping who I am and continue to become.

My beautiful children, all six of them, have been my guiding stars. Each child, a unique blend of talents and qualities, is a radiant reflection of their mother, a woman whose beauty, strength, and sacrifice are beyond words. For 24 years, she has been the rock of our family, tirelessly dedicating herself to the roles of a full-time mother and wife. Juggling homeschooling, managing our home, and being the steadfast anchor amidst the tumultuous storms of life, she has remained unwavering. Even when she felt neglected and unloved, she continued to be my greatest supporter, offering encouragement when I least expected but most needed it.

Time, in its relentless march, has a way of slipping through our fingers. It feels like only yesterday when we embarked on this journey together, and now, over two decades have passed in what seems like the blink of an eye. All the chances to change the course, all the opportunities to express my gratitude for her unyielding devotion, seem to have been exhausted. When a heart runs on empty for so long, it naturally seeks solace elsewhere. The stark reality is that life doesn't sugarcoat its lessons; it has real consequences for those who shirk the responsibilities they've chosen.

Today, as I stand at this juncture, I realize the heavy price of my negligence. It's a realization that shakes me, a regret that haunts me. But it also illuminates a path forward – a path of redemption, of learning, and most importantly, of love.

My words to you today are not merely a confession; they are a plea, a plea to each of you to cherish the moments with your loved ones. Our ambition and desire for success should not blind us to the love and warmth that fill our homes and hearts. Choose to be present, to listen, to support, and to love. Because these moments, once gone, cannot be recaptured.
