Interestingly enough, this is Moosul Publishing's second Finalist in the International Book Awards. Our first was in 2016 with Supreme Master Kim Bok-Man's book, Taekwon-Do: Origins of the Art: Kim Bok Man's Historic Photospective.

It is an honor to be so recognized again alongside Master Wee for his powerful and revolutionary insight into the practice of traditional forms!

Breaking Through is a book that couldn't have been created without the instruction I had from several people. High on that list is this man Grandmaster Mike Proctor. Here you can see me gifting a stack of my books to my teacher in the hopes that he'd like what I've done. Maybe even approve of my progress. That he'd not be disappointed in me. Of course I temper these thoughts, similar to everything else in the martial arts ... By doing it with an open heart and attempting to be the best version of myself. The feedback I got from him the day after was more than I could have expected. Eternally grateful.
