I wrote this four years ago in honor of Thich Nhat Hanh, who passed from this life on January 22, 2022. Much love and gratitude to his bright, enduring spirit.

In this moment, I don’t have much to say about war that isn’t already being said by others. Many of which are being directly effected, who I’d rather have the spotlight. But as a metaphysical healer, I do have this to say…

What we continually view and listen to effects both us individually, and what we manifest externally for the collective.

There has been tons of research on how it negatively effects our mental and physical health individually.

Which is why I highly recommend making sure the way you are being informed leaves you feeling empowered, instead of drained, or afraid, or disempowered. That it inspires you to positive action, and not towards action from fear. Because these actions actually don’t end up being helpful for anyone in the end, and they end up being highly detrimental to your own sense of wellness and well-being.

Where there’s not much study being done outside of those of us who work in the metaphysical is what happens collectively when we focus on an event from the vibration of fear or disempowerment within our energy. What we who work metaphysically know is that what happens is that we add that vibration to that event - we expand it negatively.

It’s not just what you focus on you attract, but also what you focus on you expand. And you expand it from the vibration from which you are focusing on it.

Because as souls, we are ALL connected. And we influence each other, either positively or negatively, through the energy we send to each other, especially by our focus.

Even if it wasn’t intentional.

This is an aspect of oneness that very, very few people speak about, but nonetheless is extremely real + happening all the time.

So fear makes the event get WORSE, not better.

This is why I don’t recommend consuming media so much in this time. Consume it consciously, and in short bursts.

Read + view + converse about this war in ways that leave you feeling inspiring to act in positive ways.

And remember that you cannot be everything for everyone, but you can help add good to this situation in your own way.

Even if that way is meditating daily to send loving and healing energy to all involved in this world.

There has been vast amounts of research done that shows this, too, has measurable positive effects in decreasing violence, war and deaths, in war torn areas.

While taking a brief hiatus from Facebook, my friend Jo Jayson lost her FB business page for her art. Facebook simply could not find it! Jo had spent 12 years building that page, which had grown to 18,000 followers as a result of the effort, time, and money (for ads) she had spent on it. Yehoshua: (Hebrew) Yeshua (Aramaic) Jesus (Greek) Joshua (English)……..
Like a diamond with its many facets that look so different from many angles, so is the same when looking upon Jesus. There is the historical Jesus, a pious Jew from Nazareth, a small village in northern Galilee, who challenged the social and religious status quo amongst his people, the Jews, who were enduring a harsh and oppressive occupation by the Romans. There is the Christian Jesus, believed to be born of a virgin, the “Son of God” and the Jewish messiah/Christ (anointed one) by his followers . A messiah that would save them all from their sins, and help them achieve access to the “kingdom of heaven”. There is also the spiritual Jesus, perceived and believed by those outside of Christianity, that he was an evolved and enlightened man, a teacher, a master, a prophet – similar to Buddha, Krishna and many others before and after him . An example of the human ability to achieve the highest level of spiritual consciousness whilst living as a human. Some may call this Christ consciousness in the new age world, and some may just call it God Consciousness.
Many scholars differ in their beliefs about the authenticity of the gospels written many years and centuries after Jesus’s death. Many Christians take the gospels as his historic biography and the word of God, and others seek only the wisdom and teachings in what they feel are metaphoric parables.
Most believe he was crucified by the Romans, some believe he escaped his homeland and settled in southern France with his wife , Mariamne of Magdala., Most Christians believe he rose from the dead and resides in heaven, and others believe he will return in the second coming of the messiah.
King of the Jews, Rabbi (teacher) , Savior, Son of God, rebel, miracle worker, philosopher, a Christos (messiah), a healer, God in human form, a charismatic leader and teacher of an enlightened state of being, an Ascended Master – which ever you perceive and believe him to be, his influence has touched each corner of this planet. Did this man intend to teach and create a new religion in which he would be worshiped as the Son of God, or was he teaching that we are all children of God, that we all can reach this “kingdom of heaven” in ourselves by connecting to our own God Consciousness. Yehoshua’s influence permeates through so much of our history in the past and in the present. Whichever facet of Jesus you wish to look upon, there is no doubt that this man’s light and soul has and will continue to embrace and embody so much of our human experience here on earth. © Jo Jayson 2014
