I know we live in a digital age, but I’m seeing a rise of spiritual nomads! People bouncing from church to church, livestream to livestream, platform to platform, but never submitting to spiritual leadership.

They say things like:
“I hear God for myself.”
“I don’t need a covering.”
“I don’t answer to anyone.”

Yes, God speaks personally.
But personal revelation was never meant to replace accountability.

Even the most anointed leaders in Scripture walked under authority, correction, and covering. Hearing God does not cancel God’s order.

YouTube and Facebook Live can feed you, but they cannot shepherd you. You can’t be corrected by a replay, discipled by an algorithm, or covered by scrolling.

Isolation is not maturity.
Independence is not spiritual depth.
And offense is not an excuse to live uncovered.

Growth happens when we are planted, not when we roam.

“In the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14
“Obey those who rule over you…for they watch over your souls.” – Hebrews 13:17

You can hear God and still need leadership.
You can be anointed and still need accountability.

That’s not control.
That’s order.
And God is a God of order.
