This role has been an absolute joy, and I want to thank you, the residents of District 107, for allowing me the privilege!

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance – a day to recognize those who have lost their lives due to incidents of anti-trans violence.

It’s also a time to recommit ourselves to standing up against hatred and bigotry, and continue fighting for a world where every person can live free from violence.
