Mom of two boys, proud fire wife, and baker behind Sourdough Sam Bakery.
What started as a love of baking has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.
This bakery allows me to spend my days doing something I love, prioritize my family, and connect with incredible people in our community.

Sometimes I get caught up in dough schedules, baking days, and market prep.
Then I remember these loaves become toast on a quiet morning, sandwiches for busy families, and bread shared around a dinner table.
That’s still my favorite part. 🤍

Preordering is the best way to guarantee availability, but I’ll also have a limited selection available for walk-up purchases this Saturday High Desert Chocolates during the Windsor Farmers Market.

This weekend’s bakes looked a little different 🥧
There was something special about making these pies. I’ve only ever made pies for special occasions for family. I don’t know what it is but I feel like each pie I bake has a little bit of my heart in it. It’s the true embodiment of how I show my love and care.
So it felt very special to make these for my customers so they could share with their friends and families this past weekend.
I guess this is a sign that I should make more pies. More to come soon 🤍

Meet Lisa 🤍
If you’ve stopped by the pop-ups in the last couple of months you’ve met Lisa . . . And your day likely became just a little bit brighter.
Lisa is my neighbor who recently moved into the neighborhood. When I was opening the bakery I walked down with a loaf of bread to introduce myself and we became fast friends.
She spends her Friday afternoons helping me label and Saturday mornings at the pop ups. She’s a taste tester. A hug giver. A good vibes creator. My entire family loves her. And she’s just one of my biggest cheerleaders. I don’t know what I did to deserve so much support from one persons but I’m eternally grateful.
I have a dream that this bakery one days becomes a community “hub”. A place where people can feel connected. A place where you can feel seen for the few minutes you pick up your loaf or for the 30 minutes you stay for a chat. And Lisa is the person behind creating that feeling.
