A few of our team members spent the day braving the heat and the scaffolding to help place siding on a home nearly ready for its new owner.
The home belongs to Ms. Clark and her daughter. After losing her partner in 2021, homeownership felt out of reach. Her daughter, a participant in Habitat's Youth Empowerment Program, encouraged her to apply. She did, and she was selected as the recipient of Habitat Forsyth's 40th anniversary home!
We are grateful for the work that Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County does supporting families across the county and for letting us be a small part of it. If you are looking for a way to give back this summer, they are always welcoming volunteers!
