While at the fire in Boston a motorcycle accident came in on Leo Birmingham Parkway in the area of the IHOP. Once emergency services arrived it was determined that the motorcycle rider was deceased. The road was shutdown as MSP crash recon worked the scene to investigate the crash.

Shorty before 11pm on Monday June 24 the Boston Fire Department were alerted to a reported building fire at 37 Stuart St the Jacob Wirth Restaurant which at the time was under construction . Upon arrival crews found heavy fire showing from the 3 sorry building. The fire eventually spread throughout the entire building, and took 4 alarms to bring the fire under control. Boylston MA Brand New Engine 2 a 2023 EOne Typhoon rescue pumper. This truck will be replacing the current Engine 2 and current Rescue 1. The truck should be in service around mid to late June after it gets outfitted and the department gets trained. Westborough Fire along with WPD worked this MVA this morning at the corner of Oak St and Park St. Fortunately there were no injuries and FD worked to clean fluid leaking.
