"The Australian lifestyle is something I’ve always been drawn to, especially its emphasis on being active and spending time outdoors. I love how easy it is to incorporate things like beach walks, workouts, and exploring nature into everyday life. I also really appreciated being surrounded by people who are down-to-earth, friendly, and open, which made it easier to feel comfortable and connected. Living in Australia felt less fast-paced and stressful than what I’m used to, which allowed me to be more present and enjoy my surroundings. Studying abroad here also gave me the chance to experience a wide range of landscapes through trips and activities, all within a relatively short distance. Overall, the combination of lifestyle, people, and environment made it a really unique and memorable experience." - Winnie Welch (Colgate University), University of Sydney - Spring Friendly

What was one of your favorite things about studying in London?
"I really liked being able to walk a lot of places and how easy the use of public transportation was. Being a soccer player it was amazing to be able to be surrounded by football fans and going to see games live or at a pub. How easy it was to travel to different parts of the country was really nice." - Bella Vallone (Arcadia University), Arcadia in London

"Seeing Ancona was a last minute decision but it definitely surprised me. The city doesn’t try to impress you with all the crowds and tourists. The windswept cliffs and mesmerizing views were all I needed. Ancona also had a lot of hidden gems: 16th century museums, ancient churches, and amazing food. In Ancona I learned that you can find beauty in the unexpected." - Ann Botros (Belmont University), ISI Perugia - the Umbra Institute
