Due to the 4th July holiday, we will be OPEN THURSDAY instead of Friday this week.

It’s the perfect weather to enjoy a chilled noodle bowl! We’ve got 3 new items on our menu, made to appeal with the recent hot weather! Both the rice and noodle bowls are topped with our marinated Lemongrass Pork and house carrot and daikon slaw, and our new Chicken dumplings are inspired by the dish, Peanut Chicken Satay. By next week we’ll have new coffee items/drinks and perhaps a giveaway!

Rice Paddy: 21-year-old launches Southeast Asian food stall in Penn Market

New Menu, New Items, New Stand??? Come down to Penn Market this Friday and Saturday and get some Rice Paddy!!! We will be located at 380 W Market St in York PA, serving food from 11am-3pm. As an addition to the food menu, I will now also be selling drinks and soon, exotic snacks!!

So, I forgot to plan ahead and did not give myself enough time to get all of my prep done to open the restaurant. With a couple more inspections, I should be done by the end of the week and still in time to open on Saturday the 21st. If this is not the case, then updates will be posted following this post. I apologize for the late notice and I’ll try to rush the opening! Thank you everyone for your patience and support, I cannot wait to open up and serve delicious food!

MORE FINGER FOOD TO MATCH THE WEATHER! It’s too hot to sit down and enjoy a rice bowl or noodle soup, so come by Rice Paddy to enjoy our Crispy Fried Taiwanese Chicken Cutlet. Dressed with a sweet soy glaze and nestled on top of a sesame cabbage salad, it’s irresistible.
