Custom flush fit shelf for a great returning client! This shelf is not stained but made of a very special wood called Purple Heart. It’s a wood from Costa Rica, Trinidad and places around southeastern Brazil. It is naturally full of rich tones purple. If the wood is not coated in a UV protecting finish it will turn brown when exposed to light. Sorry for nerding out on y’all but I find these things fascinating!

Another beautiful buildout! Cream color shelves with stained wood trim. Trim is hand made and milled with rounded edges on top face edge and bottom face and rear. Rounding the edges gives a smoother look in addition to preventing clients from scratching themselves up while digging for goodies!

Turned out better than I was imagining! Clean and smooth look inside this kitchen.

Design is sometimes the hardest part of home interior builds. I’m happy this client left it in my hands to get it done as they are very pleased with the outcome.

Let me tell you... A pantry makeover makes a difference. Think about it… You spend more time in the bedroom and the kitchen than anywhere else… Why not make it nice??? Food for thought, literally!
