Yulee Lightning Softball

Great turnout yesterday... end of season banquet was fun. It was really hot and a lil chaotic... but we came together like family and I hope everyone had a great time and got fed. We have one more important thing to do and that will be Thursday night... see you all at Sonics at 730pm.

Good effort this evening and unfortunately we didn't come away with a win in our last game. We struggled this year with some injuries but I am proud of the heart of our team and the overall effort. We have a outstanding core unit and we will work hard this offseason to get better at the small things. A special "Thank you" to Amber, Destiny, and Emily Hayworth... For a solid season and we all know we have big shoes to fill next year. You three will be missed. I know without a doubt we have some great young ladies that will step up next year and take on that challenge. See u guys in a few weeks for our end of season celebration.

Great game last night ladies... we all played much better and our bats came alive. We will need to keep this momentum through the end of season. We may be without different players throughout the last 4 games... because of school, church, band/recitals, etc...so be patient and understand that we all have to play out of position once in awhile.
