Always a good time at Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce's networking session, The NETT. It's such a great mix and entrepreneurs and professionals from the wider Gwinnett area.

The format for this session was 'this or that'. We were asked questions that prompted fun and engaging discussuons -- which is a great way to connect with other business owners beyond the usual 'what do you do?'. 😀

Events like these go a long way in building connections and forging collaborations.

Let's talk: Strategic Plans ✅

Admittedly, if you have gone through the rigors of developing a strategic plan, you're ahead of the game. But what puts you over the top is actually implementing said plan. And even more impressive are those who not just implement, but also monitor, evaluate and report. This is what separates the good from great.

Next week I'll be conducting training for public officers (Government of the British Virgin Islands) on monitoring and evaluating strategic plans. I applaud them for their commitment to training and development in this very crucial area.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
· Understand the stages of the monitoring and evaluation cycle
· Establish baseline data
· Identify key indicators worth monitoring.
· Establish a monitoring, evaluation and reporting mechanism

In exactly one month from today, we will welcome our 2022 cohort of the Chartered Management programme at H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.
